The Indiana Statehouse was the perfect wedding venue for Amy and Jon. They were also lucky to get a wedding day with temps in the upper 70’s in early August. I honestly can’t remember a time when the weather was this nice in central Indiana during this time of year.

One of my favorite things about wedding photography is getting to know (and become friends) with the couple throughout the entire planning and wedding day process. That said, I can’t say enough nice things about Amy and Jon. They are two very intelligent, hard working, kind people who care greatly people in their lives.

Their wedding day was beautiful and we were blessed to photograph the entire day from start to finish. Although wedding photography is hard work,  I always feel blessed  to photograph one of the most important days in a couple’s life. It was really the perfect day!

Megan and David’s wedding day at the Mill-Top in Noblesville was perfect. Fun day, perfect weather, and one of my favorite venues. I have also loved working with this couple and their families from the beginning to the end of this process. Thank you so much for letting us photograph your wedding!

Kara and Dan’s wedding day took place on a beautiful day in Indianapolis. They were married in the the beautiful St. Mary Catholic Church close to Mass Ave. They are two people who care greatly for their friends and family, and this was evident during their entire day.

I have been blessed to know Kara’s family for many years and I can say they are some of the best people I gotten to know and become friends with over the past several year. This was also a special wedding because I was Kara’s high school counselor and I also took her to several wedding with me as a photography assistant. She is now positively impacting and influencing her students as a teacher. While I haven’t known Dan and his family quite as long, I can’t say enough good things about them. Dan is a very positive, loyal, intelligent, and great guy.

Again, this day was amazing and we were so happy to be part of it. Kara looked beautiful on her wedding day and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Kara and Dan. I look forward to staying connected to them in the future!

Happy to have the opportunity to take Brigitte’s senior portraits! She is a 2018 Senior from Hamilton Southeastern HS. This year she will be involved in several things including We The People and the Speech and Debate team. She also hopes to be a 2nd year captain for the varsity cheer team.

She is also a hard working (and really good) student who is currently looking at many schools with the goal to find “where the Lord leads me. My dream school is Liberty University in Virginia to study Political Science or Pre-Law and minor in American Sign Language!”

At her session I asked her about her dream job. She told me it would be Secretary of State for the US. When I asked her to describe herself she told me: ” If I could describe myself I would say that I am a political junkie who cant stop watching the news or checking twitter to see what the new issues are on capitol hill all while drinking Starbucks. And if I am not doing that, I am playing with my dog and listening to needtobreathe. I am well known to always be standing on my soapbox and breaking out in some sort of odd dance move in awkward situations.”

When I asked to tell me what she love to do for fun: “In case you didn’t know, Politics are my #1 (besides reading the bible), i also enjoy babysitting, stunting, tumbling, playing with doggies, drinking Starbucks, and going to yoga. I also love America, because who doesn’t love free speech, capitalism, 2nd amendment, Lilly pulitzer, Texas Football and banana pudding?!” Really awesome answer.

Although she has some really serious goals, she is a fun kid who is close to her friends and family and loves to help other people. She is involved in lots of other activities, including iTown Church, Campus Life, ASL Club, and many others.

I’m happy I got the chance to meet her and get to know her better. I have no doubt she will work really hard at whatever she sets her mind towards.

It was so great to meet you Brigitte! Have a great senior year and keep in touch.

Hey everybody! Meet Claire. She’s a 2018 Fishers HS Senior and hopes to attend Indiana University in the future. Loved the opportunity take her senior photos!

She is senior who is involved in many activities at school, including being the sports editor for the school newspaper, corporate executive for the Fishers HS Riley Dance Marathon committee, and new member of the paint crew for spirit leaders.

I asked her to describe herself: “I would describe myself as a very outgoing and caring person who loves to spend time with her family and friends. Love writing and reading when I am not doing anything and I  also love my three dogs: Belle, Benny and Buster. My future goals include being the CEO of my own non-profit organization and to have a loving family and friends.”

She’s also a busy kid who works multiple jobs, including UPaint Potter Studio and also working at a local pool.

For fun, she and her friends like to go hammocking (I love this), have bonfires, spend time with her friends and family, and go on adventures.

Furthermore, although she is from Indiana, she doesn’t like corn. She is obsessed with sports, tells me her mom is her best friend, and also told me if she had one super power it would be reading minds.

Finally, she’s another great kid that I have the pleasure to work as a photographer (I was also her school counselor when she was a 9th grader). Excited to see where her future takes her!
