A beautiful wedding day with Jordan and Haley at Mustard Seed Gardens in Noblesville! I love these people and venue. We somehow got perfect upper 70-degree weather in the middle of July.

Even though they grew up a few miles apart from each other, they didn’t meet until meeting up in Nashville, TN a few years ago. Since that time they have been best friends, fiercely loyal to each other, and a perfect match.

Like most weddings, we loved experiencing their wedding day with them. They greatly care about their friends and family, have a great sense of humor, and couldn’t have had more fun on their wedding day. We were very blessed to be part of their wedding day!

I’m so happy to introduce Fishers High School 2017 Senior Morgen to you all!

She is a hard working and motivated girl who has a hard time taking a break. Along with being the President of Pinterest Club, competing with the math team, or preparing to be the editor of the newspaper next year, she is a girl who is constantly on the move and who values relationships. She likes to “read, write, craft, bake, view art, and basically anything else that can spur a good conversation. I like to think of myself as responsible, empathetic, and bold, making me a fairly good leader.”

I asked her about some of the things that make her happy (I love this list BTW): “I really love books and crazy socks. Some of the many things that make me happy are tea, coffee, the Bible, the color yellow, sunshine, flowers, books, socks, animals, dinosaurs, sweet tea, pancakes, and peanut M&Ms.”

Although she doesn’t know what her plans look like for future years, she is most likely planning to double major in Spanish and theology or ministry. She is looking forward to seeing the plans that God has for her life. She would love to work in ministry in South America with YMAM or the Peace Corps to travel the world.

The best word to describe Morgen is passionate. Again, she pours herself into the people and activities in her heart and gives 110% effort with everything she does.

You may see her working at the Nickel Plate in Fishers, hanging out with friends at Starbucks or McCallister’s, eating pancakes, drinking coffee, or a host of other things.

I’m am very blessed to know Morgen and can’t wait to see where she is headed. Have a great year Morgen!

Jessie is another senior I have been blessed to know for many years. Along with being generally awesome, she has a great sense of humor, is a very, very hard worker (in and out of school), is loyal to her friends and family, has a strong faith, and is a really humble person too.

She attends Fishers High School, Class of 2017 and is doing her best to save money for college and medical school in the not-too-distant future.

She describes herself as a “loving and happy person who enjoys spending time doing things that me me happy like painting, writing, traveling and reading”. She loves reading, hanging out with friends, meeting with leaders of CRU in talking and learning about the Bible and faith, being outside, and creating things.

Again, she is super busy, mainly with working her tail off at Menard’s as a rockstar cashier. She has a lot of responsibilities as a senior and takes it all in stride. Her positive attitude and hard work are infectious to everyone around her.

If she could avoid eating any type of food in the her future, it would be FISH (very gross… she emphasized her dislike of fish in capital letters). Her favorite song for the moment is Ophelia by the Lumineers.

Again, she’s a phenomenal person and has a bright future. So excited to see where her future path takes her.

Melissa Martin - Dominique and I were just looking through these and we couldn’t be more pleased with how these turned out!! They are just perfect! Hopefully you’ll do more family shoots in the future so we can get some more great pictures. We truly appreciate you capturing how happy and blessed we are. Thank you!!ReplyCancel

If you have never met Maddie, you need to get to know her. Along with being one of the world’s greatest babysitters, she is an amazing kid with a strong faith and many big things ahead. So happy she is one of my senior photography reps this year!

About Maddie: She attends Noblesville High School, Class of 2017 and is aspiring to attend Butler University.

When asked to describe herself: “I am very musical and I love the stage. Performing is my favorite thing to do in the world. I also love to run and be active. I am in the top 1% of my class and actually enjoy school and learning! I try everyday to keep a positive attitude and a smile on my face, for I know that my heart is held by the One who gives me joy regardless of the trials or tribulations this world may bring me.”

She is a really busy kid. In addition to being the oldest of six children and working multiple jobs, she describes a few of the things she is planning to involve herself with this upcoming year: “My senior year will make me a 5-year member of a Noblesville Show Choir, 3 of those being in the mixed varsity choir. My favorite thing in the world is acting onstage, because I can be completely myself and a completely different character all at the same time. The stage gives so many challenges and I love to take them on. I am the Vice President of the National Thespian society, and am also President of National Honor Society.”

She has many passions and especially loves her car: “I am constantly singing and dancing. I also love to be spontaneous, from going on walks around my newly discovered trails or dropping treats on the porches of the people I love with my sisters at 10:00 at night. I also love driving in my red Volkswagen Beetle. Her name is Stella and we’ve gone on some pretty memorable adventures so far. I love watching the stars and spending time with the people I love most. “

When I asked her about her favorite musical artist, she told me: “Everyone who knows me well knows that I couldn’t name a favorite song or artist. Every song that plays on the radio is my favorite song in the moment, and my friends and family always make fun of me for the amount of times I say, “This is my favorite song!” I love listening to Oh Wonder, Adele, Hamilton, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, LANY, MercyMe, Imagine Dragons, Alessia Cara, and a million more.”

She tells me that Jesus is the one thing that she couldn’t live without, and describes her love for her family: “I have a whopping 8 people in my family, and I am actually the oldest of the six kids! There are five of us girls, and 1 boy (who is also the youngest). I love them all very much.”

She has big goals ahead: “Once I graduate high school, I will hopefully be going to Butler University to study Music Education! I want to teach the beauty of music and make a difference in the lives of my students. I also want to fall in love and get married, and have a big family, just like I do! One of the reasons why I want to be a teacher is so that my occupation and schedule fit with the lives of my children and my husband! I also want to be a worship leader at my church someday, too. ”

I loved meeting Rachel. She is intelligent, has a fun personality, and loves to read as much as she can. She is a very interesting kid. She is a senior at Noblesville and is hoping to attend IU or Butler next year.

She has big goals ahead: “ …write a book, write a play, live somewhere in the world amazing for a year and experience a different culture, live in a tree house, and build my own tiny house.”

About Rachel: “I have also have had a dream to be a disney princess ever since I was little and I have always considered a gap year to pursue that and then jump into college the next year to pursue writing and literature.” When asked to describe herself: “…. ummmm haha I would say I am a creative gryffindor who just wants to live her life.”

She’s a busy kid who is involved in show choir and has been the dance captain for 2 years. She has served on the leadership board for her school key club since sophomore year. She takes tap at her dance studio, acts in school plays, and is part of her church’s youth praise band where she sings and plays the drums.

She has many passions and interests: ” I love to read and write. I love playing my ukulele and the drums. I love water coloring. I love to dance. And I love to volunteer and help those in need.”

Music is another one of her major life passions. Currently she is listening to: “Walk the Moon, the Lumineers, 21 pilots, tori kelly, Michael Jackson, alessia cara, beatles so many! oh of course Jonas Brothers.”

Finally, if she could have a super power she would control nature (which includes weather, earth and time).

Great to meet you Rachel!
