I love these guys! It was very clear from the beginning that Lauren and Kevin are a perfect match for each other. I was so happy that they were blessed with a perfect wedding day for their beautiful September Avon Barn wedding. They are best friends who also laugh all the time. So happy to not only capture their wedding day but to be new friends with Lauren, Kevin, and their wedding parties. They were amazing.

Special thanks to a few people:

Lauren’s mom – Designed decor and florist

Venue – Avon Barn

Caterer – Black Plate Catering

Cassie is my youngest sibling and also an amazing sister. It’s rare to find somebody like her who is as thoughtful, caring, and kind towards other people as she continues to be. She (and Josh) are phenomenal people, friends, and family. We couldn’t imagine not having them in our lives. Getting pregnant and staying have been very challenging for her, she has stayed the course, trusted in God through good and bad times, and is on the brink of her having her second child.

We are so excited for them as they get ready to meet their new baby and we know Emery will love being a big sister. We love you guys! Looking forward to meeting your new kiddo in the next several weeks.

Loved my session with 2017 Senior Lauren (and hanging out with her family too). I was immediately impressed with Lauren for many reasons. Not only is she an intelligent, highly motivated senior who is involved in all kind of positive things, but she is super down to earth, kind, and humble. She told me she plans to pursue a degree in English with a minor in Political Science before eventually heading to Law School (most likely).

I asked her to describe herself: “I would describe myself as incredibly passionate about everything and anything that I do. I am very much a people person and I love to participate in activities that involve talking to and working with both large and small groups of people. I’m also ridiculously Type-A and detail oriented!”

Like I mentioned she is involved in a ton or really cool things. She told me: “Outside of school, I currently serve as the President of the Fishers Speech Team and the Parliamentarian of Fishers Model United Nations. I love working with new members of each team and seeing how they grow and improve their public speaking skills throughout the season! I also volunteer as a costumed interpreter at Conner Prairie out in 1836 Prairietown. I’ve been a part of their Youth Volunteer Program since I was 12 and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed bringing living history to the community.”

She loves listening to The Lumineers and Jukebox the Giant, love to hang out with friends in Saxony Park (and the pier), and loves almost any activity where she is surrounded with people. She also shares my passion for wearing comfortable clothes.

The one thing you wouldn’t know about Lauren: “I love being politically efficacious. I’m a huge Constitutional law and history nerd, and I read political media daily.” And finally she told me that if should choose one super power it would be telekinesis (which I may need to look up to figure out what this means). Again, she was amazing! I hope you have the opportunity to meet her. Big things ahead.

Abby is not only a dynamic, talented, and amazing senior at Hamilton Heights, but she is also my cousin! Very blessed to have reconnected with Abby and her family over the last few years.

She loves to be surrounded with friends and family and also loves kids (she’s a rockstar babysitter). She is a talented soccer player, is super involved with her church and youth group, and loves to spend time in ministry helping and connected with others.

She’s constantly on the go, loves being outside, going to concerts, and generally being around people. She also admits that she would be perfectly fine if she never ate brussel sprouts again.

She’s planning to go to college but like most seniors she is trying to figure out what this plan will look like next year and beyond. I have no doubt that God has some big plans for her life. Excited to see where her next steps take her!

Savanna is a senior with many talents and skills that I have been blessed to know for many years. She rocked her session (especially her last outfit). She is a deep thinker, loves performing and listening to music, and has a quirky personality that makes her a one-of-a-kind person. She’s an awesome person with big things ahead. Very excited to see where your path takes you Savanna!
